What's Going On In Glasgow
We were delighted to welcome Cameron Thomson of FOOTDOWN Scotland to speak at the first Gravitate HR seminar of 2018 in our Glasgow office.
Cameron was joined by a good selection of guests who made a valuable contribution to his engaging presentation.
Please keep an eye on our Events page as well as our LinkedIn and Twitter pages for any updates on upcoming seminars in both Edinburgh and Glasgow!
Our Most Recent Event
Our most recent seminar was in our Glasgow office on Thursday 15th March where we were delighted to welcome Cameron Thomson of FOOTDOWN Scotland who delivered a positive and engaging presentation on organisational culture.
Throughout the afternoon, Cameron looked at three main aspects of organisational culture:
- Purpose – “why” does the organisation exist
- Vision – “where” does the organisation want to be
- Values – “what” does the organisation stand for
With these three aspects in mind, Cameron provided some real life examples and discussed ways in which the effectiveness of an organisational culture could be measured (with the additional assistance of a nice selection of props!).
We hope that everyone who attended the event enjoyed themselves and managed to take some useful insights from the discussions throughout the afternoon.
Attention has now turned to our next seminar and we hope to provide further details in the near future.
